Katz at Home provides an affordable, reliable cat sitting service whilst you are away on holiday or business, or even if you’re just going to be late home one night. Short notice bookings are not usually a problem, especially if I keep your keys. Cats are very territorial and can find a cattery, especially one with kennels attached, very stressful and upsetting. There is nothing quite like being at home, and if you have 2 or more cats the cost usually works out cheaper than a cattery. The service is tailored to each individual’s requirements, and any special needs, such as medication, are not a problem. A few of the cats in my care are diabetic or quite elderly. I am quietly spoken and patient, which works wonders on nervous cats, who often come out to say hello, even when their owners think they won’t. Some cats even know the sound of my car!
However many cats you may have, I can visit them either once or twice a day to suit your requirements, 365 days of the year. I don’t mind if you choose to keep your cats indoors for peace of mind whilst you are away, or are happy to let them roam as usual in your absence. As you will see from the “About me” page, I am not fazed if your cat is pregnant or has very young kittens, or if you have more than the “average” number of cats. A lot of my customers have other small pets who I also look after. These include rabbits, chinchillas, hens, hamsters, ferrets and lots of fish (cold-water, tropical and marine). I have Public Liability insurance to cover any mishaps by myself; but understandably this does not cover anything that might happen to your cat that is outside of my control. I have also been police checked to ensure your peace of mind.
